So it's the end of a long busy day; you're lying there in bed, trying to get some sleep....but you're being constantly distracted by scattered thoughts of problems you encountered throughout the day. You're filled with a sense of dread and anticipation for that exam you have early in the morning, but you can't get to sleep because you can't stop worrying about it! Maybe the neighbour has a noisy child that prevents you from nodding off? When we're desperately trying to accumulate enough rest to see us through the following day, we often find ourselves constantly glancing at the clock in a frantic attempt to get some shut-eye, and this can be very frustrating! In the end, we hopelessly give up trying, and by the time we begin to feel our eyelids get heavy, it's time to go to work!

With the aid of brainwave entrainment, which utilises either isochronic, binaural or monaural technology in Delta mode (that's 0.2 - 3 Hz), your troubles will end before you can even finish counting sheep, as you drift off into that deep, REM state you've been desperate for all night.

I used brainwave entrainment alot in my university days when I used to suffer from insomnia, and can't recommend it highly enough. You can, of course, achieve the same mind-state through meditation, but not everyone is a trained meditator, so entrainment provides a wonderful shortcut through that process. Not only that, but unlike medication, it's non-addictive, doesn't have any nasty side effects, and you can use it over-and-over again. Give it a go, and be sure to get back to me with your experiences!
